Saturday night, we went to a birthday party at the local Pump It Up place. I've never been anywhere like it! First, we all met in the lobby in the front of the building, and everyone watched a safety video and signed a waiver. Then we were ushered into the big room with all the inflatables. Loud music, lots of gushing cold air (essential), and four large inflatables filled the main room. After all the kids (and adults) exhausted all the possible fun to be had, we entered a small side room that was all set up with pizza and birthday cake. Mary had a blast!
This is the view from the front of the room. The obstacle course (on the left) took up the entire left wall. The big slide was against the opposite wall in the back on the right. The other two big inflatables were big bouncy rooms. A cute story about the obstacle course: Mary and Daddy went through it together (multiple times), and Daddy was having trouble standing up because it was so bouncy. Mary told him to, "Stand up, stand up, for Jesus!" We've been singing that old hymn at home for a while - how cute!
The slide was Mary's favorite!
Daddy and Mary start the obstacle course.
I held Anna while Daddy and Big Sister played and played. They were both pretty tuckered by the time we got home. Mary is still talking about how she ate pizza at the party (even though we give the girl a steady stream of veggies, pizza is still her all-time favorite food). We all had a really great time!
