Okay, I have lots of cute pictures that I want to add on here, but I just haven't uploaded them yet. Stephen and I are (still) in survival mode. Anna has not been sleeping well the past few nights. She's been getting up every 2 hours or so, then it takes about an hour for her to go back down (nursing time included), then she's up in 2 more hours to repeat the process. So we've been getting our sleep in small increments, which is taking its toll on us today. Please pray that she'll SLEEP!
In lighter news, Mary's kitchen came in yesterday and Stephen did a fantastic job of putting it together last night! Wal-Mart delivered super-quick, which is great, but our pots, pans, and play food are still in transit from Amazon. So this morning, Stephen took Mary to a toy store to pick up some play food to hold us over. She really enjoys playing with everything, especially the cute little milk carton (Mary really likes milk).
A friend of mine recently posted on her blog that she dreads meal-planning - me too! I plan for two weeks at a time, and it takes a good hour or so to write everything down. Too long! I figured there must be some kind of software that automatically compiles a shopping list from the meals I've picked out - and there is! Actually, there are many programs, all with different strengths, to help the frazzled meal-planning mama. We chose to go with the free 30-day trial of Living Cookbook, and so far it is doing exactly what I need it to do. It's going to take some time to input my family's usual recipes, but once that's done, it's pretty much all click-and-drag, which I love. Anyway, if you're having trouble finding time to sit down and write out your long grocery list, and you dread the process as much as my friend and I do, try checking out one of the software options. (And in case you're nervous about the free 30-day trial thing, don't be. We downloaded Big Oven first - for free - but it didn't have the certain features I was looking for, so we simply uninstalled it, no big deal!)
Need to run, but hopefully I'll get some time to post some pictures soon. I've got a cute one of Mary learning to brush her teeth (by the way, any tips on how to teach a toddler to spit out toothpaste???), and another one of Anna relaxing in her bouncy seat. Maybe tomorrow . . .

I'll pray for more sleep!! So glad to hear the kitchen came in!! So is she just loving it!! Does Stephen go back to work Monday? As far as teaching a toddler to spit. We just demonstrate it a lot. She will catch on. We also use the Oral-B toothpaste for Toddlers. It isn't really toothpaste. Is more of a gel and isn't harmful if they swallow it. I don't think they really catch on to spitting well until closer to 3. At least that's my experience. Love you!
Moriah took longer to learn to spit it out. :-)
