Bed-rest and Pictures

Here are some cute pictures of Mary from yesterday. Nana made Mary and her baby doll matching hats from construction paper.

Okay, I know she doesn't look like she's having fun, but she is! Daddy pushed Mary around the house in Anna's diaper box. We're still planning on using the cloth diapers with Anna, but she's still too little for them yet.

I've put myself on bed-rest today; I don't seem to be recovering as fast as I had hoped from the surgery. I still have enough pain that I need the pain medicine. After the c-section with Mary, I was off the pain meds after one week, but I can't seem to do that yet (but I do think I'm close; there has definitely been progress). Even with my mom here to help out (can't thank her enough for the GREAT job she's done), it's so hard to stay in bed when I'm not sick. Aside from the pain in my abdomen, I feel fantastic! I'm so excited about Anna and about being home that I just want to get up and do things and play. Well, that's what I've done, and that's why I've put myself on bed-rest today. Yuck. Please pray that I will stay in bed and that my body will recover quickly.
