Stephen went in to Mary's room this morning to wake her up, normal so far. I hear, "Did you hear Mary knock over her lamp last night?"
What!?
Somehow, Mary knocked over her lamp, breaking the light bulb into a million pieces, and was quietly playing with the pretty lamp shade in her bed waiting for Daddy to come in. Uggh! After a close examination, our little girl had some scratches on her face and some blood on her little pillow, but nothing serious. Yes, the glass was all in the bed! Nightmare! Mary, however, didn't seem to mind the mess, and was very nonchalant about the whole thing. I have since vacuumed, washed and dried her sheets, and things are now getting back to normal.
