Soapmaking - Part Two

Be sure to scroll down and read Part One first . . .

This is our soap in the mold after it has set for two days.
It's ready to cut!
(Those are whole oats pressed into the top of the soap;
they're good for getting rid of dry skin and looks pretty and unique, too!)

Stephen tearing away the freezer paper. We now have one big soap loaf.

Now we cut the loaf into logs using our homemade mitre box.

Then the logs get cut into bars

Viola! 32 4-ounce bars of goat milk soap!
Now we have to let them cure (sit still) for 4 weeks.
We'll let you know how the soap turns out!
