Home Education Seminar

Last night Stephen, Mary, and I drove over to Athens, AL, for a home education seminar by the Maxwell family. Mary was pretty vocal, so I spent most of the evening in the church lobby trying to see the PowerPoint slides through a window in the sanctuary door. Fortunately, Stephen was able to sit through the daddy workshop, so the night wasn't a complete waste.

Mary and I left Bible study early this morning; like I said, she's getting pretty vocal. Her two front bottom teeth are just about to break through, too, so she's fussier than normal. We have a full plate the rest of the week: Stephen has his weekly orchestra practice tomorrow night, I have my root canal Thursday morning (yuck!), Stephen is going out to dinner with the men from our Sunday School class Thursday night, I'm scrapbooking with some friends Friday night, and then we can rest on Saturday (whew!). Sunday we have to bring a snack to Sunday School, I'm thinking cinnamon rolls... busy week. But the busy times always help us to appreciate the quiet times when they come.
