Date Night

Stephen and I went on our monthly date night last night (woo-hoo!). We were so excited about seeing the newly remodeled church cafe, but it was not what we expected. The only "remodeling" done that we noticed was the addition of a flat screen t.v. The menu wasn't even up anymore; we had to ask the food service lady what was available. Total let down. And they got rid of the chicken tenders! Needless to say, we got back in our car and sped off to our favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a relaxing dinner, as we both got a chance to unwind over chips and salsa. Next, it was off to Sam's for an ice cream cup dessert. Sam's? As in the bulk-items store? Yes! Sam's has the best prices in town, even on date night desserts - 97 cents for a HUGE cup of ice cream! We walked and talked and had a great time just being together. We love our date nights!
