Links Explained

We posted some of our favorite links to the left, but I wanted to tell you a little more about them:

Family Photos will take you to Snapfish, where you have to log-in to view our pictures. Most of you do this already, so we just put the link on our family blog to make it easier for you.

The Learning Parent is a wonderful resource for homeschooling Christian families. Did you say, "homeschooling?" Yes, that's right, homeschooling! Stephen and I feel convicted by God to educate Mary at home, and who am I to argue with God? Rick and Marilyn Boyer run this site and have written (in my opinion) the BEST parenting book entitled Parenting From the Heart. They should know plenty about parenting; after all, they do have 14 children!

Whitesburg Baptist Church is where our family goes to church. Stephen plays in the orchestra every week and loves it! We just joined a new Sunday School class (coincedentally taught by Mary's very own pediatrician) and are making friends with other families with little ones.

Scripture Memory Fellowship is a program to encourage life-long memorization of God's Word. We got the preschool book for Mary. I know, I know, she's only a few months old. But God's Word is alive and powerful, and the Bible tells us that His Word will not return void (no age requirement mentioned!). Stephen and I are doing our own Scripture memory program following the Charlotte Mason (famous homeschool-pioneer woman) method. The Memory Verse section in the sidebar is the verse(s) that we're currently working on hiding in our hearts.

Fly Lady is a wonderful resource I use to organize our home and keep it clean (most of the time). It all starts with a shiny sink!

All these links are available in the sidebar to your left. We hope you enjoy these resources as much as we do!
