On Christmas Eve, Stephen brought down all the baby stuff from the attic to get it ready for Anna. He went out to our Ford Focus to put the infant car seat/carrier into the back seat, and oops - it didn't fit! Okay, so he tried putting both car seats into the Mitsubishi Galant . . . nope. The seats both fit in the back, but nobody would be able to ride in the front passenger side. There was no way all four of us could go anywhere together! Yuck! So. . . that night, we started looking for vans online. The next day, we drove around looking at used car lots and the park and sell lot on South Parkway. We saw one we liked at the park and sell lot, called the owner (yes, on Christmas day, and he didn't mind one bit), and set up an appointment to look at it the next day (Saturday). Stephen drove it, loved it, and we told the guy we'd get back to him soon. Stephen called the owner the next day, negotiated on the price (Stephen is GREAT at doing that!), and set up a time on Monday to pick it up at the lot. That night (Sunday), he put our Galant up for sale on craigslist. The very next day, Stephen picked up our new van at lunch and sold the Galant for cash before dinner. What a weekend! God is so good!
