Little Stuff

This week has been a quiet week around our house so far because Mary is sick - the sickest our little girl has ever been. It's pitiful! She has a possible ear infection/possible cold, the doctor isn't sure. He did prescribe some medicine that sounds exactly like "oven mitten," and she's showing small signs of improvement. She has very watery puffy eyes, sneezes lots, runny nose, cough, and slight fever. Yuck! She has been sleeping through the night, though, so we are very thankful for that. She still runs into things and falls down (normal), but now when she falls she just lays there an extra minute or so before getting up slowly... so pitiful! Oh well, everyone gets sick now and then, and Mary is handling it like a champ. Please keep her in your prayers if you think about it.

On another note, there is a very funny blog called Cake Wrecks, I think I've mentioned it before. You have to be careful when you check it out, because sometimes the content is a little questionable. It's a blog of professional cakes gone horribly wrong; people submit photos of real cakes that bakeries have messed up. I got up early this morning to start laundry and had some extra time to check it out. This post is soooo funny! Also, since the very-literal mess-ups are my favorites, here is a bunch of them. Enjoy!
