It's almost midnight, and if you know much about me, you know that Stephen and I enjoy getting into bed by 8:30 p.m. This is sooooo not me to be up this late! However, I had an awful night last night. I know I could feel myself stretching and getting even bigger, which made me super uncomfortable for at least two hours in the middle of last night. So, I just had to take a nap this afternoon when I put Mary down (By the way, this was the first day that she actually ASKED to go "night night" for her nap! She couldn't even finish lunch, she just kept saying, "night night." YES!). Even though this was a beautiful and restful nap to remember, now at night I'm wide awake... yuck... what does one do at midnight when her family is in bed? Update the blog! Thanks to The Cutest Blog on the Block (notice link in upper corner), I've updated the background, layout, and added a Blog Roll. Not sure about proper blog etiquette, so if your blog is on my list and you don't want it to be, just email me and I'll remove it, no worries (I just listed all the blogs that I check regularly.).
We just said goodbye to my brother from Delaware, Drew, and tomorrow we'll be welcoming my brother from Mississippi, Matt! We're all very excited to spend some time with family that we don't get to see too often. I'm sure I'll post lots of pictures in a few days, and I believe another trip to the Galaxy of Lights will be in order (we took Matt last year, too). Sooo glad that Stephen's work gets a discount!
I'm to the point in my pregnancy (34 weeks) where I'm starting to stop feeling anxious about getting everything done before the baby gets here (because there's really not much left to do!). Thanks to a wonderful Sunday School baby shower, we now have all the cloth diapers and accessories we need for Anna, so I can check that off my list. There are still a couple of little presents I'd like to pick up for Mary to open and play with when she visits me and her new sister in the hospital, but I think I'll take care of that on Friday. Stephen still has to bring down some baby stuff from our attic, but I really believe that we're almost ready for our new little girl! It's so exciting; I really can't wait to hold Anna and introduce her to her wonderful big sister! Even though I feel tired a lot during the day, I try my best to make the most of the special time I have left with just Mary. I'm glad that the girls will be so close together in age (21 months apart) and will get to grow up together. Stephen and I pray daily that they will be best friends as well as sisters.
Okay, I'm going to get a little something to eat and try to sleep now. I'll probably regret all this late-night activity in the morning, but I'm glad that my brother will be here to lend a hand. Thanks for coming to our blog and keeping in touch with our family. Have a happy week!

Absolutely love your new look!!!! I think people are honored to have their blog on your blog list. My list is out of control, but I don't regularly read them all. Sometimes I go crazy and try to catch up. Many of them don't regularly update. I'm actually embarrassed to have so many, b/c I don't want anyone to have the impression that is what I do all the time. But it's pretty convenient to have them there. Have you noticed that we currently have the same verse up on our blog. I change mine up from time to time. I'm glad you don't know much about these late hours. In addition to keeping up our blog, some of us late nighters keep up with school, laundry, dishes, email, etc., etc. However, I'm a night person and really don't mind too much. I so can't wait to meet Anna!!! I remember the sleepless nights towards the end. Crazy enough, I think of them fondly now. Well, didn't mean to write a book in your comment section! Gotta run!
Love,
Jennifer
