As everyone knows, the power went out in Huntsville for DAYS after the nasty tornadoes that ripped through the Southeast. The girls and I packed up last Thursday and headed to my parents' house in Mississippi in search of electricity. We had a wonderful time visiting with my family, and we even got a chance to do some fun things, like visiting the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo. Mary loved petting and feeding some of the animals; her favorite was the giraffe. Anna rode in the backpack the whole time, but she seemed to enjoy it, too! As a souvenir, each girl got a buffalo stuffed animal from the gift shop, which is what Mary is holding in some of the pictures. We'll definitely be going back with Stephen; it was so much fun!
