Furniture Swap?

Ever been to a friend's house and thought, "I love her table! I wish we could just swap." Well, my friend Julie and I did it! She loved my table, I loved hers, so we swapped last night! My old table, above, has four chairs and one bench seat. It was great for us for a time, but since there are just four of us in our family, it wouldn't do for the long-term. We needed a four-person table with the option to add more seats for other family and guests. In comes Julie's table, below. I had seen this exact table at Sam's (where she got hers), and had wanted it for a while. When I went to her house a little while ago, I saw that she had it and asked how she liked it. She loved it, of course, and I didn't think anything then about swapping. I sent her an email this past week asking her some more detailed questions about her table, and she replied back with the idea of swapping. She had seen my table during a visit and liked it a lot, so why not just switch?! How cool is that! It's so neat how God works things out; He even cares about little things like a dining room table!

We now have lots more room in our dining room and can sit together as a family more comfortably. Thanks, Julie, for the idea, and I sure hope you enjoy your new table as much as we're enjoying ours!
