I'm personally not much of a basketball player, but we've got a hoop for visitors! Now I suppose we need to get a ball. Oh! I found our only honeymoon memento in the attic the other day - a frisbee!
Here are some more pictures of our (hopefully!) new house. This is (obviously) a few of the front with the side-entry garage (very high on Stephen's priority list). A working fireplace was high on my list, and this house has two!
This coming week is an exciting one for us. Monday is Anna's doctor appointment and the house inspection. The inspection takes 3-4 hours, and we'll know how everything stands with the house by the end of the day. We'll get another chance to get inside the house and look around - very exciting! Also, sometime this week the bank will be sending out an appraiser to assess the value of the property. Once this is done, all we'll be waiting on (if the inspection goes well) is the official closing on June 11. It seems so far away, but it's really not. We can't wait! We're praying that things will go well with the last few hurdles and this house will be ours in a few weeks. Things could still go horribly, terribly wrong, and we could lose the house, but we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. If God wants us to have this house, it will happen. If He doesn't want us to have it, then we don't want it either.
I'll try to take some more pictures Monday. We'll keep you updated!
