My dad drove down from Delaware (13 hours!) to spend last weekend with us. This was the second time he's seen Mary and the first time he's seen Anna. Everyone had a GREAT time!
Mary loved playing with Grandpa and his "doggie" (seen in the bottom right of above picture).
Grandpa brought a special present for Mary - a monkey hand puppet! Mary loves all things monkey, so this puppet was a big hit. In the above picture, we just got done practicing Mary's somersaults on the couch cushions. She's feeding her baby doll while the new monkey, Grandpa, and the doggie watch. It was so much fun to have my dad visit; we hope he comes back very soon with Grandma Monica!

Anna turned one month old over the weekend! She's starting to stay awake much more, which is lots of fun. However, the sleeping has not gotten any better - yuck! She still wakes up every two hours during the night to nurse. Stephen is handling the lack of sleep much better than I am. He's always cheerful, which helps me get in a good mood. Last night was particularly bad for me, so this morning Stephen surprised me by making me a delicious omelet for breakfast! He is the best husband!
Well, Mary's snack is over, so I better run. More later . . .
