Great Weekend!

Anna loving on her daddy before the recital.

It's alive! Our backyard square foot garden is doing so well! Thanks for the help, Grandpa Y.!

Sorry it's a little blurry, but this is Anna in her new dress. I like to dress her in blue because it matches her pretty blue eyes!

We've had such an amazing weekend! On Friday, Mary had a little party in her music class after they practiced for their recital. Then after naps, Nana came over to watch the girls while Stephen and I went out to celebrate our anniversary. She even put the girls down all by herself! Yes! Stephen and I went to dinner and a movie, and we have not been able to do that since BEFORE WE HAD CHILDREN! It was waaaaay overdue, and we had a wonderful time together! Saturday was the girls' recital. Anna went first and bounced on my lap while we had a mini-class on stage. Mary's class was last, and she did a great job on her piano solo playing and singing do-re-mi, etc.). After the recital we said goodbye to Nana and then Granddaddy treated us all to ice cream. Thank you, God, for a special and happy weekend!

Our garden is doing really well; it has exploded! Our pumpkins are creeping their way toward the house, and we already have some baby cucumbers and pumpkins forming!

Mary starts ballet class this Wednesday, and we are both soooo excited! I'll certainly post pictures and let you know how she does.

Have a wonderful week!
