Fun Saturday

I LOVE Mary's face in this picture! We went to Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville Saturday morning to see the birds and walk around. Mary loves to pick up the goose and duck feathers. After she and her daddy tried to throw the feathers in the lake (note: feathers do not take to throwing too well), I told her I wanted to take a picture of my girls together. Now, Mary does not yet know how to smile for the camera. So to get her to show some teeth, you have to tell her to chuckle, which she is doing marvelously (and quite loudly) in the above picture (although it almost looks like an evil, malicious laugh to me). Too funny! Anna really doesn't know what to make of her sister's sudden outburst.

After naps, we all went out back and played in the pools. It was in the 90's, but we still had a good time outside!

Mary loves her new Cinderella ballerina pool toy, of course.

Not much new is happening right now, which is why I haven't updated the blog in a little while. Summer is nice and slow most days. We have ballet on Wednesdays and music classes on Fridays. With church on Sundays, that's our week. In August, things will start to pick up again with church activities.

I hope you all have a happy week and a wonderful upcoming 4th of July!
