Valentine's Day

Grandmother bought Mary a beautiful Valentine's dress, but we ended up not wearing it to the party because we didn't want to get it dirty. She wore it to church instead. Thanks, Grandmother!

Here's Mary at the party next to her bag. Mary is still learning how to socialize with other children. We talk about smiling and being kind, but this was her expression for pretty much the entire time at the party. Sheesh...

Our Valentine's Day chandelier complete (minus the final heart)! It was a big hit with the girls, so we'll definitely be doing this again next year! :)

Mary has another eye doctor appointment tomorrow morning. The doctor is having us back sooner than normal, and she mentioned corrective surgery last time. So, I'm hoping to find out tomorrow one way or the other about the surgery. Her lazy eye is not getting better, as far as I can tell... we'll see what the doctor says. Thankfully, Mary really enjoys going to her appointments.

We're in the process of slowly but surely redecorating both of the girls' rooms. Anna's big-girl bed came in last night (part of it), and it's sooooo sweet! I'll post some pictures as we get it all going. Stephen is going to paint Mary's room a light blue and Anna's room a light green sometime this summer. I'm SO excited about it, and I think the girls will really love it when it's all done.

Have a happy day!
