Anna wears a bow!
Anna and Daddy relaxing on a Sunday afternoon
Mary still can't jump. We've pulled out all the stops and have dusted off the old rebounder trampoline to try to teach her how to get both feet off the floor at one time. I think we're making some progress... I think. We have decided to give dance lessons a try starting this summer. There is a really great ballet studio very close to our house that offers a dance fundamentals class for 3 year-olds. They also have a summer dance camp for her age group called Tutus & Tiaras that we're so excited about, too! I recently observed a class to make sure it's something that would be good for Mary, and I loved it! I did notice, however, that all the girls could jump. So, we're trying to work on it (casually) before dance class starts this summer.
We've started some of our seeds for our square food gardens recently. Onions, peppermint, dill, and basil are all growing in our downstairs guest bedroom. I'll post some pictures of our little grow station soon. Not many of the onions have sprouted, but the basil is taking off and will be ready to transplant to a pot next weekend. I'm going to keep the basil inside in the kitchen this year and see how it does. We're all really excited about our garden, but I'm trying not to expect too much our first year. We still have a lot to learn!
Well, it's time to get moving... I hope you have a wonderful week, and I'll try to post some more pictures soon!
