It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Did a little decoratin'! It sure has been fun getting ready for Christmas, especially since this is the first year Mary is really understanding what's going on. She has a toy nativity set, which she loves, and she's been taking Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem all week. She's also really gotten into Charlie Brown, well, Linus mostly. She loves him! I picked up some Peanuts stuff at Hallmark (I'd forgotten how neat that place is!), and she's hooked. Last night she got to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas special on t.v. with Grandmother and Granddaddy, and I heard she really enjoyed it! Seeing her get excited about the holidays gets me more excited, too. I downloaded some classic Christmas music this morning and we've been dancing around to it all day. So much fun! I think Stephen and I might wrap presents and watch a Christmas movie tomorrow night after the girls go to bed. I really want to see Home Alone, I haven't watched it in FOREVER, but it's turning out to be a little harder to find than I thought. Still don't have a Christmas tree, but we're going to take care of that next year. Hobby Lobby has a nice 7.5 foot pre-lit tree that will work nicely in our living room I think. It's so much fun to decorate!

The girls are very tired this morning, so they're taking naps before lunch right now. Not sure how the rest of the day will go, but we're learning to go with the flow around here, so no worries. :)

Merry (early) Christmas!
