Fun Stuff and Beet Ducks

Stephen, Mary, and all her babies before bed tonight

I made some fantastic homemade crackers to go with dinner tonight! I never thought I would make crackers instead of buying them in a box - and they're grain-free, too! Love it! Here's the recipe, which is very easy and actually pretty fun. I topped them with a little dried basil and sea salt, and they are soooo yummy!

Sorry for the sideways photo. Here's what they looked like before I broke them into pieces. Instead of traditional flour, it's just ground-up sunflower seeds with sprouted sesame seeds mixed in. So easy!

Aww... cute little cookies? Perhaps homemade candy ducks? Yeah, right! BEETS! Yes, these are little beet ducks, and Mary LOVED them! Crazy, I know.

Both girls have eye appointments on Wednesday. I'm hoping we don't come home with a pair of glasses for Anna. Her right eye sometimes seems to go a wanderin', but it may be my imagination. She's getting checked out anyway; better safe than sorry, right.

Have to run! Have a happy week!
