One-Year Check-Up

Mary went to the dentist a few weeks ago, and she got a great report. The kind ladies at the reception desk gave her this cute t-shirt. Of course, I quickly turned it into an adorable play dress! The front says, "Got Teeth?" Cute!

She had her one-year check-up last week, which just happened to be right during her morning nap time. Above is how she looked when we drove into the parking lot. Pretty cheery, huh.

Thankfully, she had another great visit with Nurse April and Doctor Brassart. She weighs 22 pounds and some ounces, but has only gained about half a pound since our last visit. Her weight is leveling off for a while as she becomes more mobile, which is normal. She got four shots this visit, but handled it like a big girl and quickly quit crying when Nurse April made a balloon out of her glove.

Mary can wave now, hi and bye. So cute! She's pulling up lots and still loves her books. Another tooth popped through yesterday, bringing her teeth total to five, but another one could possibly come through today.

Everything is going well with us, nothing too interesting... just living and loving the family God has so richly blessed us with!
