This is Mary's "smile." We're working on it...
Last night was the workers' sale for Kid's Market. Ms. Meghan and I had a blast, and we got some really great deals, including this purple tutu for Mary. She' in LOVE with ballet, she loves it, loves it, loves it. I decided to get her some leotards and tutus just to wear around the house. I wasn't sure if she'd take to it, but SHE DID! In fact, she's been wearing this outfit ALL day! Mary is just the sweetest little ballerina, and she can't wait for her ballet lessons to start in June.
Tonight is our opera night, and I'm SO excited, although I'm pretty worn out still from last night. We're going to Moe's for dinner, then heading over to the movies to catch The Met's production of "Nixon in China." This one is all about Nixon's visit to China in the 1970's, obviously, and it's in English, so that will be new (all the others have been in Italian). This will be our last opera for a little while. The ones coming up after this are pretty dark and moody, not something Mary would enjoy. But I'm hoping to catch the last two operas of the season later on.
Have a happy day!
