If you're looking for a new Thanksgiving book, look no further! Thank You, Sarah is a great historical children's book about the holiday and how we almost lost it for good. This book tells the story of Sarah Hale and how she petitioned the presidents during her lifetime to make Thanksgiving a national holiday; this is definitely one I'd like to get for our family library. It has wonderful illustrations, too! Huntsville Public Library has at least one copy (although we have it checked out right now), so take a look if you're interested.
Now for the cute pictures:
We had a wonderful friend over today and had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving a little early! Thanks, Emma Blair, for spending the day with us!
We'll be traveling to Fulton, Mississippi, on Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving with some of my family. We're really excited about getting away for a few days. I should have some more cute photos next week to share.
Have a happy day!
