Anna is doing such a great job eating in her high chair! Her favorite food right now is sweet potato, and I think her least favorite is the rice cereal (which is soooo messy).
The termite men are coming today, so we'll be spending the morning at Grandmother and Granddaddy's house. (We don't have termites, and we want to keep it that way, so that's why they're coming.)
Nothing new going on around here, which is nice. I think my mom is coming to visit next week; she's going to help me potty train Mary. I think she's also going to take Mary to the movies, which is something fun they did last time she was here. Mary loves, loves, loves the movies now, and she keeps talking about going again next time Nana comes. My little girl's first movie wasn't something sweet and memorable (my first was Cinderella), no, instead it was Planet 51. It was one of the free ones for kids they show in the summer, and it didn't look too bad on its website. The most important thing is that she had a great time, and surprisingly, she stayed for the whole movie! I honestly was expecting them back in 30 minutes or so, but no, this girl wanted to watch the whole thing! Anyway, so I think that's on the agenda for the next Nana visit.
Want to hear something really neat? Have you heard of Operation Christmas Child, where they pass out shoeboxes to kids in foreign countries and tell them about Jesus? Well, my 17 year old brother is passing out shoeboxes right now in Bolivia! He was chosen by Samaritan's Purse to be part of a student group to hand them out this summer (they're not just distributed in the winter). I think that's really neat, and I'm so proud of him.
Tomorrow morning Anna has her follow-up appointment with the pediatric cardiologist. I almost forgot that my sweet baby girl was born with two holes in her heart. The doctors didn't make a big deal about it, so we haven't either. They even said the holes would probably just grow closed soon on their own. I'll let you know how it goes.
Well, it's a busy morning, so I better get going. Have a happy Tuesday!
