I've been lamenting the fact that we spent so much money on this wonderful new jumper a few months ago, and my baby has yet to actually jump in the thing. Well, she's not quite jumping, but she's now doing more than simply standing there. I like to call it Jumper Rodeo; watching her do this new trick reminds me of watching rodeos when I was younger. Not much news to report... my apple pie (previous post) was good, but there were so many other desserts at the social last weekend that it was barely touched. I enjoyed eating a piece when we got home. I'll certainly make it again, but next time with a different crust (Stephen didn't care for the flaky butter crust). I'm about to drop Mary off with her grandparents and head out to inspect the local natural foods store, Garden Cove. Her homemade food is about to get really "involved" on my end, which will require weekly trips to a place that sells brewer's yeast, kelp, and tahini. If Garden Cove doesn't sell these things, well... we'll blow up that bridge when we come to it.
