Mary's new room is officially finished! Did I go a little overboard on the hoops? Probably. Does my daughter absolutely love them? YES! She giggles whenever she walks into her new room - so cute! We're not letting her sleep in there yet, but I think we'll give it a try soon. We do play in her new room quite a bit, so I hope she's getting used to it.
Last weekend we went to Big Spring Park downtown and walked around. Mary did very well on her first walk in the park. We found out that she is not the least bit scared of ducks, geese, or water, which is something to be a little concerned about I suppose. We had to hold her back from petting the geese and wading in the water. About ten minutes after this cute picture was taken, she got really excited about the ducks and fell face-first onto the walkway as she tried to hurry over to them. Yuck. Crying. A little blood. We left. She recovered quickly, though, and is walking better and better everyday.
